Club Lottery Jackpot €4,500:

The numbers drawn last week in Hanleys were 9, 19, 24 and 26. There was no jackpot winner. Lucky dip winners were Jim Colbert promoter Frank Moore, Mary A Kelley promoter Denis O Connor, Benjamin promoter Snows, Jerry Dwyer promoter Denis O Connor and Mgt Mc Auliffe promoter Jimmy Mc Mahon. Promoters Prize Frank Moore and In-House Mike Scanlon. This weeks draw will be held in The Halla Beag, Thursday, November 10th with a Jackpot of €4,500. If interested in doing Knockaderry Club Lotto there are several options, a weekly purchase of €2 or three for €5 or a weekly direct debit of €5. There was no jackpot winner of the predictor. Two winners, on 20pts each, Ted Danaher and Tadgh/Jack Mc Grath This week’s jackpot is €2,700

The predictor sheets can be bought from any promoter, Mag Bridgeman, Sean Condon, Ger Corkery, Tom Mc Grath, Brid Danaher, Richard Wall, Ted Danaher, Tom Condon, Eilísh Hayes, The Halla Beag or any committee member at a cost of €2 a sheet. Sheets must be submitted to the Halla Beag every Friday evening at 9pm. Your support is always appreciated.

Bus to Arbutus Hotel on December 3rd.

The Knockaderry weekly lotto will be held in the Arbutus Hotel, Killarney on Friday December 3rd. A bus is arranged and you can book your seat by contacting Ger Corkery on 087-6303040 as ASAP.

Bord na nOg Awards Night:

The Annual Bord na nOg Underage Awards night is been held this Friday November 11th at 7pm at the Resource Centre.

West Sarsfield Cup and Larkin Shield Football Teams

Knockaderry will be represented on the West Primary School Football Teams again this year. On the West Sarsfield Cup team is JJ Condon (Mahoonagh NS) and on the Ladies football West Larkin Shield team are Siobhán Cahill and Grace O’ Connor (Ahalin NS).

Annual GAA Christmas Draw, 1st Prize €1000!!

The Annual Christmas Draw is underway. Teams of sellers will be out and about selling the tickets far and wide!!! The Draw will take place on Friday, December 23rd. Prizes are as follows 1st Prize €1,000, 2nd Prize €500, 3rd Prize €200 and various other prizes. Committee members may also be contacted for tickets. Like last year we got a great response and we would like more of that support this year. One ticket €5 or three for €10.

Did You Know?

The first Team to win a West Final in the Parish was in 1929, they then went on to play Claughan in the 1929 County Final. It was the first final to be played in the then new Pairc na nGael, Ennis Road, with Claughan winning 7-2 to 4-3. Game was played on August 3rd, 1930. This Team was often referred to as ‘Listons Team’ as no fewer than 5 Listons featured on the panel, Eddie, Paddy, Fr. John, Micheal and John E.
